Night Out: Part Two

The night is hot, literally hot. With the El Nino phenomenon, the country is experiencing its hottest months. The temperature fluctuates from 35-37 degrees centigrade. Looking at the signage again, I asked myself what that temperature equivalent would be in Fahrenheit.

Adventure starts when one is doubtful of the outcome of the journey or activity. It doesn’t need to occur in the morning or evening. It doesn’t need to be in the itinerary. The more spontaneous the sequence of events, the more thrilling it can become.

Second Season

It’s been a month since I was working on an offshoot of this original blog. Sticking with the same title to maintain its identity, I gave it a tag “Risk comes when two people end up in bed.” True that it has a cynic’s precedent, but things do not just happen without consequences. There are consequences that could not always be a welcome to everyone. The sexually transmitted diseases accompanying the careless encounter is a risk. The physical danger that exposes one to anonymous encounters is a risk. Even commitment, or absence of it, ensuing after the bed encounter is a risk.

Even with risk, some of us are not afraid. Perhaps, it is the awareness and readiness that made us fearless. Pehaps, it is mere arrogance or selfishness that we really don’t care at all. Perhaps, the idea that life is a risk in itself could have provides us the strength and motivation to survive it.
